On April 17, 2023, Ms. Rachel Qin, Executive President of WOAC and Ms. Linda Xu, Deputy Secretary of WOAC were invited to Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI) and met the President of Rome FAI Mr. Giuseppe Morganti. The WOAC Art Competition 2023, themed as “Environment, climate and energy,” shared the same vision with FAI, which was founded in 1975.

The FAI is a highly active non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of natural landscapes and cultural heritage. It is committed to preserving Italy's natural heritage, art, history, and social culture that respects Italian traditions, aiming to protect the spiritual legacy deeply rooted in and embraced by the Italian people.

Italy, the cradle of European culture, boasts an abundance of historical heritage. This is evident from the name of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (Ministero per IBeni e le AttivitaCulturali). One of the key functions of this government institution is the preservation of cultural heritage. In addition to the national-level emphasis, there is also a strong awareness within the Italian populace for the voluntary protection of their country's natural heritage and cultural heritage.

During the meeting, WOAC and Milan headquarter of FAI came to a cooperation understanding. All types of art salon and exhibitions at WOAC Art Competition 2023 will be splendidly presented in Italy's historic buildings.

The FAI, in collaboration with the WOAC, will jointly promote environmental consciousness and integrate WOAC Art Competition into the Environmental Artist Art Alliance system. WOAC Art Competition will also express concerns from an artist's perspective about environment, climate and energy, and the future of human destiny.
