With extensive global media attention, the WOAC Annual Award Ceremony will serve not only as a symbol of Sino-French cultural exchange but also as a key platform for showcasing the deep friendship and cultural legacy between the two nations.
Historical rebirth of the "Olympic Arts" (Olymp'Arts):
The great tradition of “Olymp’Arts” began in 566 BC in ancient Greece, two centuries after the birth of the “Olympic Games” in 776 BC. The globally renowned “Modern Olympic Games” were founded by Pierre de Coubertin.
First Olympic competition to exclude all discrimination.
Olymp’Arts (Olympic Arts), which concerns the mind and no longer the body, will radically change the way we look at disability, by universally bringing together all artists, disabled or not, in a single Olympiad! Thus, “Olymp’Arts” has a notable advantage over “Olympic sport” by removing any possibility of marginalization and by placing all candidates on the same level of equality. Because it is the universality of the emotion, aroused by their works and their minds and no longer by their bodies, that will be judged by the world public.
The "element" of the "Olympic Arts" is Water (the spirit) - that of the "Olympic Games" being Fire (the body).
The six stars of the logo represent the six continents: the sixth, on the top of the pyramid, represents the white continent whose "Environment" must be preserved, the theme of the first Arts Olympiad.
Values imposed on all candidates in all disciplines : universality, beauty, harmony, aesthetics and absence of any aggressive or violent expression.
Olymp'Arts objective : To seek and develop beauty in its universal aspect in the world
