This prestigious event will bring together artists, cultural scholars, political figures, and business leaders from around the globe. Prominent figures from the international art world will be in attendance, and French legendary disabled artist Anja Linder will give a recital performance on-site.

The grand dinner will be a feast for arts, as well as a collective celebration of Chinese and French artistic elites. This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, while also focusing on the theme "Jiazi Spirit, Brightening the World". As an annual cultural exchange event, the WOAC aims to offer more opportunities for future cultural cooperation and the development of the creative industries between China and France.

During the event, the WOAC will present several prestigious honorary trophies to individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to international art exchanges. These awards will be personally presented by the founding president of WOAC, underscoring the authority and global influence of the event. Furthermore, the event will receive widespread media coverage from major global outlets, including Le Figaro from France, The Times from the UK, The New York Times from the US, and China’s CCTV and Xinhua News Agency, among others. With extensive global media attention, the WOAC Annual Award Ceremony will serve not only as a symbol of Sino-French cultural exchange but also as a key platform for showcasing the deep friendship and cultural legacy between the two nations.

Historical rebirth of the "Olympic Arts" (WOAC Art Competition):

The great tradition of “WOAC Art Competition” began in 566 BC in ancient Greece, two centuries after the birth of the “Olympic Games” in 776 BC. The globally renowned “Modern Olympic Games” were founded by Pierre de Coubertin.

First Olympic competition to exclude all discrimination.

WOAC Art Competition (Olympic Arts), which concerns the mind and no longer the body, will radically change the way we look at disability, by universally bringing together all artists, disabled or not, in a single Olympiad! Thus, “WOAC Art Competition” has a notable advantage over “Olympic sport” by removing any possibility of marginalization and by placing all candidates on the same level of equality. Because it is the universality of the emotion, aroused by their works and their minds and no longer by their bodies, that will be judged by the world public.

The "element" of the "Olympic Arts" is Water (the spirit) - that of the "Olympic Games" being Fire (the body).

The six stars of the logo represent the six continents: the sixth, on the top of the pyramid, represents the white continent whose "Environment" must be preserved, the theme of the first Arts Olympiad.

Values imposed on all candidates in all disciplines : universality, beauty, harmony, aesthetics and absence of any aggressive or violent expression.

WOAC Art Competition objective : To seek and develop beauty in its universal aspect in the world

"Beauty will save the world" - Dostoïevski (1821-1881)

"The challenge of our @me is to create beauty. And  that depends on our ability to understand the past, and to take it with us into the future, in an aesthetic way"- Stefano Zecchi (2024)
